Debit Cards
Most participating markets accept debit cards for payment. Purchases made by debit cards and cash are not eligible for the Beans&Greens Match.
Tokens
Most participating farmers’ markets use wooden token systems to issue matching dollars and simplify transactions made by food assistance and debit card transactions.
Tokens must be redeemed at the farmers’ market where they are issued.
No change is given on transactions made with SNAP tokens, as this violates USDA rules.
Visit the Market Information Booth for details on how to obtain and use market tokens.
