We deliver innovative distribution solutions that bring locally grown produce to underserved neighborhoods, benefiting both local Kansas City residents and local farmers.
We prioritize neighborhoods that exhibit characteristics found in food deserts including (but not limited to):

zero or a limited number of mainstream grocery stores;

limited access to other sources of locally grown produce; and

residents with limited purchasing power
The How
We act to achieve our mission by:

Partnering with local farmers’ markets, market stands, mobile markets as retail outlets to increase the availability of locally grown produce in underserved neighborhoods;

Supporting neighborhood level promotion and outreach activities to support and encourage healthier eating patterns
